Are Care Experienced Children & Young People Treated Differently?
In April 2024, Bridgend Council made Care Experienced a Protected Characteristic.
This means Bridgend Council want to do more to prevent care experienced children and young people from being treated differently to others their age or being disadvantaged because they have experience of being in care.
I would be very grateful if you would complete this short survey to help us understand how care experienced children and young people are sometimes treated differently and how this can be changed.
All survey responses will be looked at by our youth forum and a group of professionals to use the information to make a plan for new opportunities for care experienced children and young people.
Thank you very much for sharing your views, they are really appreciated and valued!
